Moss has the ability to thrive in urban spaces. Horan investigates the unnoticed beauty of moss by collecting samples from overlooked mundane locations.
Horan uses a typological approach, controlled studio setting and artificial lighting to display moss in a new light revealing the individual characteristics and personalities of these pioneer plants. Each unique moss reminds us our environment is shared and inspires resilience in the face of adversity.
